7.1 Selection of objects
7.1.1 Selecting objects in the list
In the object-list an object can be selected by left-clicking, additionally selected by ctrl-left-clicking
or deselected by ctrl-left clicking, too. Use Shift-click to select a range.
7.1.2 Selection of objects in the scene
- Left-click selects the object and deselects all other objects.
- Ctrl-click (or Shift-click, if you like) adds the object to the selection or deselects the
object if already selected.
- If you canot reach an object, for instance because it lies behind a transparent plane,
you can still select it by pressing TAB. Next to the mouse-pointer the current
’target-objects’ name is shown.
- If you tend to get confused about which objects are selected and which not, you can
use ’Extras - make selected objects blink’. However, this might look a bit uneasy.
